CorpsAfrica volunteers for transformative Malawi

A total of 31 CorpsAfrica volunteers are set for a mission in several districts across the country.

They have been commissioned for duty after four weeks of training and are expected to work in the districts they have been assigned to for one year.

Among the 31 is Chisomo Kambananga. He is destined for Mpalale in Dedza.

Kambananga said empowering local communities is one of the best approaches for the attainment of tangible development results.

“This is our opportunity to show the communities that the youth in the country have the potential to help realize the aspirations of the country as outlined in Malawi 2063.”

In his remarks, CorpsAfrica Country Director, Arthur Mkosi, expressed hope that the volunteers will make a difference.

This is the 5th cohort by CorpsAfrica. Among their areas of work include agriculture, entrepreneurship, environmental conservation and urban planning.
