D-all Turf announces his come back

Lilongwe based Afro-RnB musician, D-all Turf said he is back in the music business and he is eyeing to release several music projects including music videos and audios this year.

In an interview with Malawi News Agency (Mana), D-all Turf whose real name is Ernest Chikhungu said he failed to maintain his appearance in the music industry for some years due to academic engagements.

 “I planned to put music on pause from 2016 up to 2018 on academic grounds; in 2018 after I came back I released two tracks titled ‘Tandigwire’ and ‘Mwalakwa’.

“According to my plans things were working out until I was called to further my education at Bunda and I had to pause again and focus on school,” D-all Turf said.

He added that, while on his music pause he also learnt some entrepreneurial skills to help him survive in the music industry.

“While on break because of school, I also learnt about some other entrepreneurial adventures so that when I started music again I do not have to be begging to get signed for free music recording sessions.

“Additionally, I knew that education combined with talent and entrepreneurial knowledge would make me to be financially stable and survive in my music career,” he said.

D-all Turf came into music limelight in the year 2014 with a song titled ‘Sindifuna’ which he featured one of the country’s big names in the urban music circles, Martse.

In 2016 the artist also released a track titled ‘Wekha’ which he also featured one of the best music rappers in the country known as Mwanache.

The musician further said that, he is now back to stay in the music business and his fans should look forward for finest music from him.

“My fans should expect nothing but music that comes with soul, music that has been written with passion and love, in the same way I am promising my fans that this time around I will be consistent in terms of my music projects release,” he promised.

D-all Turf also confirmed that, soon this month he will release a single titled ‘Mtima’ produced by Jay Emm Drums at 97 Dynasty studios in Lilongwe.
