Duwa signs two-year contract with Karonga

Josiah Duwa has dumped Ntopwa Football Club for Karonga United where he has signed a two years contract.

The left back who had travelled with the Amaghetto kids to Karonga where they had two assignments against Karonga and Chitipa United did not travel back to Blantyre with the team which lost both games.

Confirming the development to Nthanda Times, Karonga United General Secretary Ramzy Simwaka said Duwa signed for Karonga after the two teams reached a mutual agreement.

According to Simwaka, Duwa will be with Karonga United until 2023.

“It is true that we have signed Duwa from Ntopwa. It has taken a good relationship which exists between Ntopwa and Karonga United to agree and Ntopwa releasing the player to Karonga United. So, from today onwards Duwa is a Karonga United player. He has ssigned a two years contract meaning he has two good seasons to play for Karonga United,” said Simwaka.

Duwa played for Phalombe Open Space before joining Ntopwa Fc.

Karonga United seems to have been busy in the transfer window as it has also singed Amadu Makawa, Hadson Milanzi, Thoko Harrison just to mention some.
