Out of the three games the Usuthu have played, they have drawn one game, came from behind two games to claim victory,  a development head coach Brandon Truter described as a fighting spirit.

“We managed to sneak a victory at the end. Our guys showed plenty of fight. I can’t fault anyone. This is a team that can fight as well. It was a tough ask to come back after conceding against a Hunt team,” Truter said.

The Usuthu who are second on log table with 7 points from three games plays defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns on August 16, 2022 at Loftus Versfeld Stadium.
