Namartists part ways with Made See

Nearly a year after Made See made his existence in Malawi’s music industry following release of his first single Litilo featuring Patience Namadingo, Namartist artist management group founded by Namadingo has announced the end of a working relationship with the up-and-coming artist after the youngster’s public misgivings on his contract. The song caught the attention of FDH Bank plc which eventually committed to sponsor him with K2 million, half of the amount for his education and the other half for his music. In a statement signed by Namartist Manager Peter Mazunda, the group says Made See, real name Medson Kapeni, is now at liberty to work with who he wants. Mazunda said during the initial contract, FDH Bank plc committed to use K1 million for the young artist’s music promotion which is still safe. He said the other K1 million was used for his education, paid directly by the bank to the school. Namadingo and Made See have parted ways “However, it was recently brought to our attention with much disappointment that Made See was expelled from school on grounds we choose not to dwell into,” he said. Mazunda said the move to put Made See in school was made after the artist and his mother, Annie Nsaka, indicated that they wanted the artist to access better education while pursuing his music career. He said currently Made See has already recorded two singles Litilo and Jembe and four instrumentals ready for voice mixing. “These recordings will be made available to his next partners without any cost to Made See, but at the expense of Namartists management group,” added Mazunda. Mazunda : The recordings will be made available to his next partners There has been a hot debate in social media platforms after Made See posted videos showing his dismay on Namadingo’s acts.  The end of the working relationship between Namadingo’s Namartists and Made See comes days after the young artist accused Namadingo of not assisting him financially. He later accused Namadingo and his team of delaying the release of his album. Sharing is Caring!
