R-Berto set to release new music video ‘I am not perfect'
Ireland-based Malawian RnB trap upcoming artist R-Berto real name Albert Mataka says all is set for his music video titled ‘I am perfect’ to be released in September this year.
In an interview, R-Berto said the music video is talking more about a man who enjoys cheating in relationships and later on changed his way, but people still are not believing that he changed.
''All is set to drop my music video titled ‘I am not perfect’ in September this year. The video is about a man who was always a player once he falls in love with a girl but later on changed his way but people still think that he is a cheater," said R Berto.
R-Berto whose song 'Daily' trended in Zambia inside Boom9 on sun FM radio has described the coming in of COVID-19 pandemic as the major challenge artists are facing in the industry saying they are no longer making profits out of their talents. He says despite COVID-19 being a challenge, he is still not giving up on his dream.
"To say the fact, COVID-19 has affected and worsened the situation in the music industry since live music shows have been banned, making it hard for artists to make money. Things are tough in the music industry but still more we are going forward. I am planning of dropping two other tracks this year," said R-Berto.
R-Berto ventured into the music industry in 2018. He released two music singles Wanga and Daily which topped charts in Zambia.
Musically, he is inspired by the artists Joe Kells, Thomas Chibade and the late Wisdom Chitedze. The new video ‘I am not perfect' is being produced by DJ Megi of audio mix studios in Ireland.
