Silver suspends headcoach Kabwe over poor performance

Institutes a Taskforce to investigate issues surrounding the team's poor run 

Silver Strikers Football Club has suspended its headcoach Daniel Kabwe for the team's poor performance in Tnm Super League 2022 season.

A statement from the Central Bankers says Kabwe will be investigated on the team's poor run in the elite league.

"Silver Strikers Football Clun is informing all supporters, football stakeholders and the general public that the club has suspended the Head Coach, Mr. Daniel Kabwe, pending investigations on the poor performance of the team in the Super League of Malawi 2022 Season," reads the statement.

The statement further says assistant coach Macdonald Yobe will take over the team until management makes a final decision on Kabwe's future with the Bankers.

The team has meanwhile instituted a taskforce to investigate the team's poor run in the league.

"The club has meanwhile appointed a Taskforce to investigate all issues surrounding the performance of the team. The club has further appointed Mr. Macdonald Yobe as Acting Head Coach until the final decision is made," reads the statement.

The Bankers who are fifth on league standings with 16 points, 16 points from league leaders Nyasa Big Bullets forced a 2 all draw in matchweek 11 against league debutants Sable Farming at Mulanje Park Stadium and lost 3-1 to defending champions Nyasa Big Bullets at Kamuzu stadium on Saturday 28 May 2022.
